Why: Just a fun, all-around geeky shirt. Lots of fun details to be found here - I didn't even see Ariel in there until after I had the shirt in my hand. I also thought the guy on the top right was the Creature From the Black Lagoon - it was pointed out to me later that it's Abe Sapien from Hellboy.

I also appreciated the details outside of the plate, the "2999" and "New New York" that people may miss the first time.



And of course, No Prawns! :)

Why: Part of pre-order package for Nathanson's lovely new record, "Modern Love".

Comment: Cool shirt from one of my favorite singers. This is not my first Nathanson shirt, and I suspect I may pick up another one at his show at Terminal 5 this Fall.

It's a nice, soft, comfortable shirt, 40% cotton, 40%poly, 20% rayon IIRC.


I had to take a picture of the tag before I cut it off - just thought there was a humorous number of indications for a simple t-shirt, let alone a giveaway. Machine wash warm, do not bleach, tumble dry low, cool iron, do not dry clean, according to my friend Eileen. :)
