This shirt was from a free promo from Cap'n Crunch cereal. They wanted something like six UPC symbols, which for some people would probably have been a big deal, but I go through phases when I can eat six boxes of Cap'n Crunch (specifically, Peanut Butter Crunch, but I also like Crunch Berries, though somehow less so after they added all those weird colors) in a month.

The shirt, you can probably guess, is not made from the highest quality cotton/acrylic blend, but it has a nice, soft feel and the heather blue is pleasant. The rings around the sleeves are snug and would probably look really nice on someone who has actual biceps. The logo is an actual screenprint, not the cracking iron-on type that usually comes on these sorts of free shirts.

Weird fact: Cap'n Crunch is made by the Quaker Oats Company (in turn owned by PepsiCo), but if you go to the Quaker Oats website (and really, why wouldn't you?) there is no mention of any Cap'n Crunch products. They have all the hundreds of old-man-Quaker branded oats, bars and cereals as well as Life Cereal and some presumably-regional brands like Quisp or King Vitaman...but no Cap'n, anywhere. Weird.
